The AIR FORCE 3 belay device is designed for belaying and allows the leader to belay or lock off one or two following climbers using guide mode. The small hole makes it easy to release the ropes under tension and lower your climber while in guide mode. Compatible with ropes from 7.3 mm to 10 mm, it has four grooves that fit single ropes but also two double or twin ropes. Its two V-shaped grooves make it easy to give slack. It also allows for effective control of braking and optimizes energy absorption when the climber falls. For added safety, each belay device is provided with an individual number that guarantees its traceability.
