Tropica Aquarium Soil ensures good and active aquarium plant growth from the beginning, and also boosts red plant shades. Aquarium Soil is a complete base layer, which can be used with or without another substrate. Tropica Aquarium Soil is an active substrate layer that lowers the pH value and slightly affects the water chemistry through the reduction of the KH. Tropica recommend a 25-50% water change, minimum, twice a week during the first 4 weeks after establishing the aquarium.
Directions:
1. Fill the aquarium with 5-6cm of Aquarium Soil.
2. Slope the soil towards the rear of the aquarium to enhance sense of depth.
3. Position the rocks and wood or other decor.
4. Slowly and carefully fill with water to 2cm above the Aquarium Soil.
5. Plant the aquarium plants into the Aquarium Soil.
6. Slowly and carefully fill the remaining aquarium water.
